Your Lima Bici guide is MINCETUR-certified and bilingual. They speak English, Spanish, and at least one other language. More than a navigator, your guide is a local expert — a Miraflores-born historian, a gastronomy specialist, a street-art scholar, or a coastal route connoisseur. They bring the city's stories to life through personal anecdotes, historical context, and genuine enthusiasm for Lima.
We provide a well-maintained hybrid or city bike fitted precisely to your height before departure. The bike comes with gears, proper brakes, a comfortable saddle, and a water bottle holder. A certified helmet is included and mandatory — no exceptions. If you prefer to use your own bike, please let us know in advance.
Lima is one of the world's top food destinations, and we make sure your bike tour reflects that. Depending on your chosen tour, inclusions range from freshly made ceviche at a local restaurant, anticuchos (marinated skewers) at a street grill, traditional empanadas, chicha morada (purple corn juice), and more. These are not tourist-trap offerings — our food stops are chosen for their quality, authenticity, and cultural significance.
Your guide captures photos throughout the tour at Lima's most photogenic spots — the malecón cliffs, Barranco's Bridge of Sighs, the murals of the bohemian districts, and more. Photos are shared digitally after the tour at no extra charge.
Lima Bici tours are never just about cycling — they are cultural experiences. Depending on the tour, activities may include a salsa dancing demonstration, a visit to a local artisan's workshop, a stop at a gallery in Barranco, or a tasting session at a traditional market. These experiences are integrated into the tour flow and require no additional payment.
All Lima Bici tours include basic group insurance covering accidents and medical emergencies during the tour. This is a standard inclusion at no extra cost. We recommend supplementing this with personal travel insurance for your broader trip to Peru, as group coverage is limited to the duration of the tour activity.
The price you see when booking is the price you pay. Unlike some operators who advertise low base prices and then charge separately for food, activities, or equipment hire, Lima Bici includes everything. We believe that transparency is fundamental to a good travel experience, and we have built our pricing model around complete honesty. The only things not included are personal purchases, transport to the meeting point, guide tips (entirely discretionary), and personal travel insurance.
