On the way back, you may be lucky and observe a monk jumping from the cliff, a unique scene. You may wonder why: he does that in memory of a love story from 1860. The daughter of Clarita Marques felt in love with the son of the housekeeper. To prevent this love, her father took her away to a different country. The lover desperately jumped from the cliff, and the girl did the same from the boat. They both died. Nowadays, the monk spectacularly does the same, with a happy ending of course.
